Jenny and Andy have become best friends-going on space missions to Planet Sandbox, sending messages to Andy's space friends using their super-secret space communicator, and playing hide and seek with the shrinking swarbles that live under the Big Toy. When the school merry-go-round turns into a rocket ship on Halloween night, the two friends begin the adventure of a lifetime! Landing on Planet Olii, the planet of the space friends, readers follow the explorers through giant forests, across frozen landscapes, and over fields of gemstones to the end of the planet to find the dreaded Bundeva. Will they find him in time to save the planet Book Two in the Jenny Figment series, "Andy's Space Friends," is a magical read (and perfect read aloud) for early middle grade adventure seekers, ages 6 - 11.
Jennifer had a whimsical childhood during the 1970s and 80s, with imaginary friends and a trusty noble steed as her constant companions. As she grew older, her imagination and love for children's books remained, guiding her to become a teacher. She's now on an extraordinary adventure of her own into the world of children's literature. She is the author of The Extraordinary Imagination of Jenny Figment series, and is super excited to share new adventures in Book Two: Andy's Space Friends. Jennifer loves animals, especially pocket dragons, and has a passion for baking pinkerdoodles. She lives in Illinois with her husband, daughter, one cat, and two dogs-who sadly do not talk (though sometimes Jennifer imagines they do).
When she was small, Dora spent every moment drawing, reading, and having extraordinary daydreams. She has been painting and creating watercolor prints professionally for over twenty years in various mediums and styles, finding inspiration in her love for animal characters. As an illustrator of children's books, Dora aims to spark curiosity, imagination, and a love for learning in young readers. She was born and raised in Serbia, where she currently lives with her own five adorable kids.
