Description

Twenty years ago, the robots designed to fight our wars abandoned the battlefields.

Then they turned their weapons on us.

Seventeen-year-old Nick has spent his whole life in a community in the wilderness, hiding from the robots that have enslaved mankind. When the bots attack, he and his younger brother, Kevin, and adopted sister, Cass, barely make it out aliveonly to discover that everyone they love is missing.

Determined to find their parents, the siblings venture into the heart of the robot-controlled City. As they live among the bots for the first time, they realize they're fighting for more than just their family. The robots have ruled for too long, and now it's time for a revolution.

Reviews

An exciting, dystopian page turner...Robot apocalypse done right -- Kirkus Reviews Good old-fashioned sci-fi action starring remorseless laser-firing robots and ridiculously brave and selfless teenagers. -- Booklist "A strong start to what looks to be an exciting series." -- Publishers Weekly "Very entertaining, with an action-packed story that suggests a cinematic blockbuster. Readers looking for a lively adventure through a dystopian future that isn't hopelessly bleak may therefore get on board for this revolution and relish its obvious set-ups for a sequel." -- Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books "Fast paced and entertaining" -- School Library Journal
