Im Jasper. Im eleven years old and four foot six inches tall, with green eyes and green hair, and this year I found out something amazing about myself. Turns out Jasper thinks his life is as normal as can be (green hair aside) until he discovers his foster parents have been withholding a pretty huge secret from him. It turns out he is an alien! So when Earth is in danger from Emperor Iko Iko Iko (son of Iko Iko, grandson of Iko), Jasper and his foster sister, Holly, get pulled into a rather crazy adventure in space.
'I really enjoyed 'Turns Out I'm an Alien', a fabulously funny (and superbly slimy!) intergalactic adventure. I'll never look at slugs the same way again!' -- J. Moore * AmazonReviews *
'I really liked the story. It was lots of crazy fun but with a nice storyline and some great characters. I liked the relationship between Jasper and his human and alien families. I think this would go down well with KS2 bookworms and reluctant readers.' -- NW Library Lady * AmazonReviews *
'My 9 year old loved this book. The plot was fast and furious, with plenty of humor, and slugs walking along each page... We will certainly look for more books by this author.' -- D. White * GoodReads *
