Oscar Wilde (Author)
Oscar Wilde was born in Ireland in 1854 and is known for his poetry, plays and the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray. He died in Paris in 1900.P.J. Lynch (Illustrator) P.J. Lynch was born in Belfast in 1962, the youngest of five children. He studied art at Brighton Art College (where one of the tutor's was Raymond Biggs) and is now a well-established and critically acclaimed artist. He has won the Irish Bisto Award, the Kate Greenaway Medal (twice) and the Mother Goose Award.
