Author Bio

Tessa Duder is an internationally celebrated author, and has written more than 40 books in genres from junior fiction to adult history. Among her best-known works are the Alex quartet and her biography of Margaret Mahy. A Commonwealth Games medallist swimmer and a keen sailor, Tessa Duder is a leading advocate for writing by and for children. She lives in Auckland.
