Nadia Higgins is the published author of more than 70 books for kids and young adults. In addition to weird inventions, she has written about explorers, national parks, outer space, pop stars, and zombies. Higgins lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her husband and two daughters. Marco Guadalupi has a deep love of storytelling. He works in the publishing industry both as a writer and an illustrator. He lives in Italy and likes chips, licorice, and Harry Potter, as well as videogames and photography. He says, "I believe in imagination: the world needs it." Mark Oblinger is an award-winning songwriter, composer, producer, and performer. He cowrote and produced the Grammy-nominated children's jazz symphony JumpinJazz Kids: A Swinging Jungle Tale and has won five Heartland Emmy Awards for his work as a composer/producer for the PBS children's show The Big Green Rabbit and the short films Yesterday's Zoo and The Sea I See.
