A 12-year-old boy's parents have been prisoners in the catacombs of the castle under false pretenses for 5 years. He must leave his little sister behind with a strange woman he just met. He takes off into a dark and haunted forest in search of a White Dove that will help bring his parents back home and restore peace and joy to the whole kingdom. He had always been told not to enter this forest, yet he must find the courage and be confronted by great obstacles and to accomplish this daunting task.
Helena Canejo has been writing short stories from the tender age of nine. Helena Canejo was born and raised in Portugal and has lived in the United States most of her adult life. She loves people from all over the world and loves to learn new languages.
Canejo tried law school in her younger years but decided there was no room for imagination. So, she became a Licensed Hypnotherapist instead. Stories are her passion, and she uses them to help better the life of those she shares them with. She loves to write, garden and dance to her favorite music. She loves to daydream and spend time with her children and her precious dogs.
Peter was born in Portugal and raised in Peabody Massachusetts. He has always loved to draw and create. He is an Artisan in the Exotic Rug Industry and loves his wife so much, he decided to help her illustrate her book. He is a dedicated father and husband and he too loves gardening. His sense of humor defines him and you will often find him laughing out loud as he listens to his favorite radio station, He loves history and has mad carpentry skills.
