Author Bio

Hannah Eliot is a childrens book editor who lives in Manhattan, New York. Her favorite activities include editing (of course), writing, painting, and doodling all over every piece of notebook paper she uses.

Carol Herringis an illustrator living in Southland, New Zealand. She lives with her husband and five kids in a country cottagealong with sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and a miniature horse, who happen to live outside the cottage. She specializes in childrens books and has plenty of inspiration to draw from with such a busy household. She loves to paint with gouache when she has the time, and is inspired by many illustrators from her childhoodsuch as Richard Scarry, Mary Blair, and Alice and Martin Provensen.
