Description

Heartland is an exhibition of contemporary art from South Australia that hopes to generate new ways of thinking about who and where we are. It premieres new works of art made for the exhibition as well as selected works that have rarely been seen and includes Tjala artists from Amata, Kate Breakey, Kim Buck, James Darling and Lesley Forwood, Wendy Fairclough, Stewart MacFarlane, Ian North, Annalise Rees, Chris De Rosa, Yhonnie Scarce, Paul Sloan, Tjanpi Desert Weavers, Angela Valamanesh, Hossein Valamanesh and Amy Joy Watson. The Heartland Curators and Public Programs Team have collaborated to develop a Heartland book for children aged 5-12. It's full of art-making activities for kids to do at home or in the classroom.
