"Ukrainian Angels" is for all the children caught up in the terror of war. Every day, they see more terrible sights. Then they have ever imagined before. This book is to show, through poetry and art, what they experience every single day. We hope to share their stories for them,
In their own bright and gentle way to help all these children, we must take note, and see what they are living through. To read their stories and remember their words is the least that we can all do.
These drawings were made in low light, cramped space, underground, where it is dark and cold, by artists who all want the world to take note of these stories the children have told.

In working with charities we recognize the positive role that early access to books plays in children's development and on their outcomes.
We are passionate about helping children enjoy books and reading for fun. When children are immersed in stories and with characters, they enjoy themselves and discover many interesting and rewarding things. Not just "reading" but also "learning through reading". Today, even though the form of reading has changed, for children, books are always an indispensable friend and associated with the childhood of many generations.
Ukrainian Angels is considered a work of a lifetime that we, along with our passionate illustrators from Ukraine and international friends, have devoted a lot of enthusiasm to talking to children around the world about the meaningful and spread awareness about the war in Ukraine. Teaching children about war and its effect on people and other children is not easy, but we believe that when we take the time to show them what is happening, they will grow up to be great adults. empathize and can become a motivator for good.
