Author Bio

Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara, born in Barcelona, Spain, is a writer and creative director in constant search of new concepts for children's books and the author of the multimillion-copy bestselling Little People, BIG DREAMS series of picture books that explore the lives of outstanding people. Working for more than fifteen years for clients in top advertising agencies, her books combine creativity with learning, aiming to establish a new and fresh relationship between children and pop culture. Teresa Bellon was born in Albacete, Spain in 1987. She spent a few years wandering around before she did an Illustration Course in Madrid. As a result, she began working for national and international clients and her work has been exhibited all over Spain. Influenced by Portuguese and Nordic illustrators of childrens books, her drawings have a touch of naivety, reduced ranges of colours and simple compositions. Teresa doesn't stay at home waiting for inspiration, she sets out to find it. So she travels, buys illustrated books and walks a lot around her home city, Madrid.
