The Spanish Swan Ballet is a short inspirational story about a young girl with a disability who dreams to become crowned "The Spanish Swan." La Maestra takes Faith under her wing and tells her that anyone can dance, no matter the disability. She guides her to becoming crowned "The Spanish Swan".
Lorena Gomez-Maese is a native Californian born in San Pedro, a coastline of Souther California. Lorena and her family have lived here for 6 generations, her family is an artistic one. Lorena started dance lessons at the ages of 4 and she has danced in 2 professional dance companies. For the past 5 decades she has taught, directed, choreographed, and produced her own theater, everywhere, from the streets to the stage.
Lorena is married with 3 children and 8 grand-children. She wrote this ballet because she is all about tradition, and culture. It was time to write a short inspirational story, and due to the device generation, it was important for her grandkids to experience tradition, culture, theatre, music, and dance.
