Description

In this captivating final book of The Adventures of Max and Leo series, young readers embark on a thrilling tour of New York City alongside two adventurous brothers, Max and Leo. From the breathtaking heights of the Empire State Building to the awe-inspiring dinosaurs at the American Museum of Natural History, and from the vibrant streets to the enchanting Broadway musicals, Max and Leo's boundless enthusiasm brings the wonders of the Big Apple to life.

Dedicated to Ellen Rose O'Brien, whose spirit lives on in each of us who love to read, sing and dance, New York City Loves Max & Leo playfully introduces Liberty, the cute little mouse that accompanies them everywhere. The reader is challenged to find Liberty at the Metropolitan Museum, Central Park, the Sloomoo Institute, on the subway, in shops, and throughout the book.

This creatively illustrated, easy-to-read picture book is an ideal read-along for siblings, librarians, parents, and teachers with K-2 students, fostering a love for reading and exploration. It is based on a true story about bi-racial brothers living, learning and loving together.
