Description

Monica Kulling presents the fascinating life story of George Eastman, the American innovator and entrepreneur who founded the Kodak Company and invented roll film, helping to bring photography to the mainstream. In 1877 in Rochester, New York, George Eastman couldn't understand why picture-taking was so difficult. George realised that not many people could own a camera - they were too expensive and the size of today's microwave oven! But how could he make picture taking easier This fun easy-to-read biography is a great introduction to modern photography.
