Author Bio

Steve Brown is a childrens illustrator from the UK with a passion for character design and creating emotive characters in his work, which is inspired by the humor of the 80s and 90s cartoons he grew up with. Steve has illustrated over seventy picture books and chapter books for US and UK publishers including Oxford University Press, Scholastic, Hachette, Harper Collins, Franklin Watts, Maverick, Orchard Press, Welbeck, Miles Kelly, Igloo Books, and David Cook. Steve has been nominated for the Fantastic book award 20202021, shortlisted for the Childrens Book award in 2019, shortlisted for the SCBWI Crystal Kite award in 2019, and shortlisted in the Royal Society young peoples book prize in 2023.
