Together, they learn about friendship and family, identity and belonging, kindness, compassion, happiness, hope, peace, love, and life! The Boo Boo Duck series was born out of the childlike wonder that ties it all together.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love humans, and I love what I do! Before anything, as a mom, and then as a teacher, writer, coach, mentor, tutor, and editor, I wanted to share the warmth, love, light, and magic of Boo Boo Duck with others!
Even before Lauren started the project, she fully immersed herself in the story - internalizing, processing, and then beautifully, artistically, and creatively stepping into the story as child, caregiver, and artist. Lauren created images that I could only have ever hoped for, when I first wrote the book, to bring Boo Boo Duck to life on canvas and paper.
