Award-winning illustrator/photographer TERRY FITZGIBBON is passionate about nature and has always strived to ensure Aotearoa's extraordinary native wildlife and habitats survive in today's challenging world. Terry's Master's thesis is on protecting forests and he has worked for both Forest & Bird and the Department of Conservation. ANNEMARIE FLORIAN has been a longtime advocate across the entire spectrum of children's literature and education - as curriculum designer, book awards judge, bookseller and librarian, as reader and writer. She enjoys engaging with others to celebrate and showcase our unique fauna.
