Author Bio

Elizabeth Shreeve is the author of several books for young readers, including the chapter book series the Adventures of Hector Fuller and two picture books, Captain Freddy Counts Down to School, illustrated by Joey Chou, and Oliver at the Window, illustrated by Candace Hartsough McDonald. She lives in Northern California in the USA.
Frann Preston-Gannon is an award-winning illustrator and designer. She was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Award in 2020 for her work on the best-selling I Am the Seed That Grew the Tree (Nosy Crow) and has also been shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Prize. She was the first UK recipient of the Sendak Fellowship, allowing her to spend a month living with and learning from Maurice Sendak. Her work has been published around the world. She lives in London.
