"Run salmon run, beneath the moon and sun. The salmon story circles, run salmon run." Dive into the world of salmon in this lyrically written and beautifully illustrated children's book. The story follows the journey of the Pacific Salmon from stream to sea and back again through all the life stages: egg, alevin, fry, smolt, adult Run Salmon
Bright crisp colors and vitality in the illustrations combined seamlessly with engaging easy-to-read rhyme are all highlights of this science-based creation by entertainment duo Bobs & LoLo The contents of Run Salmon Run are a good reason for it to be a valued addition in the primary curriculum areas of environmental studies, but it will make a fun gift book, too, perfect to read on a summer vacation by the sea. Highly Recommended.

"Run Salmon Run makes learning fun as we 'begin at the end' and follow this amazing journey down the river, out to sea and back again. This book beautifully illustrates the wonders of nature. Engaging, playful and absolutely delightful."

I am impressed with the Run Salmon Run book. It is a fun, informative book and the illustrations are lovely. It is a strong educational tool for young readers and shows the life cycle of the salmon.

Lori Joy Smith (Illustrator) credits weekly trips to the local children's library with her father for sparking an early love for reading and children's books. As a teenager she lived in Italy and visited some of the most beautiful museums in Europe, which left her wanting nothing more than to make art. Now she puts these two loves together everyday, working as an artist and illustrator. Lori lives on PEI with her husband, 2 daughters and a growing menagerie of pets-3 cats, 2 bunnies, 1 dog and 2 sheep. She loves making art, walking in the forest, watching the stars, drinking coffee, growing flowers and most of all reading with her own girls.
