Description

Dawg Days of Winter is a playful portrayal of a conversation between my roommate's dog and me, where the dog questions my identity as a shredder. It also brings to life the colorful characters you often encounter at mountains and resorts. Overall, it is about inclusivity and celebrating the snow sports community.

This book started as a joke between friends while I was sketching on a chairlift during a perfect powder day. The main goal for this book is to get my nephews stoked to slide on snow while celebrating a community I was introduced to in my early thirties when I decided to learn snowboarding.

Author Bio

J. Mike Kuhn is a versatile designer and muralist with over 15 years of experience in the creative industry. He specializes in motion graphics, typographic design, textile design, editorial design, photography, and illustration. Passionate about learning new software and exploring emerging technologies, J. Mike is constantly seeking ways to expand his artistic range.
