Author Bio

Laura Lieberman is a former pharmacist, turned salesperson, turned mother, turned children's book author. Laura is a Midwest native, born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University for her undergraduate degree followed by pharmacy school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Laura moved to New York City with her husband Michael in 2019. The Poodle Party was inspired by life on the Upper East Side. The poodles, their owners, and all the fabulous outfits! The beauty and fun of an outdoor gathering in Central Park on a sunny day. The East Meadow of Central Park, where Laura taught outdoor yoga during the pandemic. The Big Crooked Tree still stands providing shade and a welcome meeting place to all those who visit. Laura hopes the happy memories of childhood birthdays surrounded by family and friends will bring joy and light to readers. After all, it is not so much the party itself but who we enjoy it with. Laura continues to reinvent herself and draws inspiration and creativity from the NYC community surrounding her.
