Gabby Dawnay is an experienced children's writer, screenwriter & occasional illustrator. She's written numerous picture books, including the popular 'If I had...' series for Thames & Hudson, as well as children's animated shows such as Postman Pat and Messy Goes to Okido. She also writes for award-winning children's magazines, 'OKIDO' and Eco Kids planet. Art, science, poetry and nature are all subjects close to her heart. Gabby lives in Brixton with her 'Reading Dog' whippet, aloof cat, children and husband. She is an avid reader, podcast listener and television watcher.
Mona K is an illustrator with a passion for all things quaint, cute and whimsical. She loves to dabble in mixed media and traditional crafts. She was born in Bulgaria and is now based in the Netherlands. She graduated with a bachelor's in graphic design and discovered a pull towards book illustration in her last two semesters and has been pursuing illustrative work and anything associated with creating cheeky characters since 2016.
