Monique Dermaux is a goat-loving woman who lives in Tomball, Texas. My Mom Bought a Goat is a true story of how Monique's obsession with goats grew. When Monique found her first goats on Craigslist, she knew that they wouldn't be her last. She loves to share her goats with people while conducting goat yoga sessions. Ruth, Pearl, and Pinky are enjoying their time in the spotlight.
Monique spent over 30 years in the corporate world and recently retired. Her career focused on Computer-Aided Design and engineering software applications. Zoe Mottershaw is the daughter of the author. Zoe contributed to the book by selecting the illustrations and some final editing. Zoe is a pharmacy graduate student at the Feik School of Pharmacy in San Antonio, Texas. Zoe plans to be a full-fledged Pharmacist by May of 2022.
