Description

There are word puzzles and games with solutions at the back of the book and funny jokes lurk on the edge of the pages. With educational value implicit in all the activities, there are plenty of fun projects in the book as kids can hunt for spiders, build a butterfly nursery and create tasty treats to put in a bird feeder.

Author Bio

Dave Gunson is a prolific writer and illustrator of children's books. His highly successful colour-illustrated All About series includes Birds, Insects, Plants, Seashore, Sea Life, Garden Wildlife and Wildlife of the Past and is published by New Holland. He has also produced four best-selling natural history Read, Colour and Keep colouring-in books - Birds, Shore and Sea Life, New Zealand Wildlife and Garden Wildlife, and the encyclopaedic Big Book of New Zealand Wildlife. Dave has also recently illustrated a children's picture book for New Holland called Grandpa Ngata and the Seagull.
