"Wavy Adventures" tells the story of Jay and Isabella two siblings who recently move back to Shell Island after losing their mother. Jay has a difficult time adjusting to his new life until a magical dolphin named Shelly enters his life. He learns he as a special connection with Shelly, but he doesn't know what it is until he meets Rusty (inspired by real life Marine Mammal Activist, Russ Rector) and Victoria. Although it seems like they have settled in to their new lives, trouble strikes, and the group of friends must embark on an adventurous journey like no other!
In this story, Jay, Isabella and their new friends go on an adventure to get Shelly back to her magical superpod. But it isn't exactly smooth sailing they run into some trouble at sea with pirates! Just when Jay thinks all hope is lost, he starts to believe that he has a greater purpose on this island. Will they get Shelly home before the pirates capture her or will their family's past hold them back
Yasmin was born and raised in South Florida where her love for the ocean began. As a former classroom teacher, she decided to use her passion for teaching and writing stories to inspire children to protect dolphins and our oceans. She hopes to do that with her book series, Wavy Adventures.
