Rachel Tonkin is one of Australias most respected childrens book illustrators and has illustrated over 50 books, including Grandpas Stories, which was shortlisted for the CBC Eve Pownall Information award in 1996, and When I was a Kid, shortlisted for the NSW Premier's Award in 1998.
