"Gentle enough for bedtime wind-down, this title invites repeat reading and perhaps a virtual trip online to listen to bird calls."-- "Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books"
"Hall's effervescent poems beg to be read aloud."-- "Booklist"
"A soulful, vivid look at the hidden world of winter birds."-- "New York City Audobon"
