Josh Hestermann is a zoologist at the Orange County Zoo, California, USA. He previously worked at the California Science Centre, the Aquarium of the Pacific, with marine mammals at theBrookfield Zoo, and as a keeper, presenter, and educator at the Phoenix Zoo. He has led research trips studying California sea lions in Mexico and participated in the Chicago Zoological Society's Sarasota Dolphin Research Program. Josh has contributed to conservation efforts for everything from sea otters to bluebottle butterflies.
Bethanie Hestermann writes animal-science books for children. She is passionate about educating others on animals and wildlife conservation through books, magazine articles, social media content, and blogs.
