Dr Xiaobing Wang is an economist and the research director at the Manchester China Institute at the University of Manchester. Xiaobing loves reading and writing, and has a deep knowledge and understanding of the mythology of ancient China. Katie Ponder is an award-winning illustrator whose work has been featured in exhibitions at Somerset House, and the DK books Greek Myths, Norse Myths, Egyptian Myths and Goddesses & Heroines. Her inspirations include ballet, ghost stories, and the greenhouses at Kew Gardens.
