Author Bio

Kurt Johnston is junior high pastor in Southern California. He's served in middle school ministry since 1988 - longer than most of you have been alive! Kurt was once a middle school student, and when he was in 8th grade he was beaten up by a 7th grader. Kurt and his family live in Orange County where he spends his free time surfing and still avoiding 7th-grade bullies. Mark Oestreicher has been in middle school ministry for 25 years, working in Illinois, Nebraska and California. Now the president of Youth Specialties, Mark has written or contributed to dozens of books for middle school ministry, including the popular Wild Truth series. Mark Oestreicher.
