"Bevin and the Great Pandemic" teaches children what to do for fun during a pandemicand how to stay safe. Not only will they learn these important skills about dealing with the pandemic, they will also learn that it won't last forever. They can go back to normal life, eventually!
This charming book is full of delightful illustrations. It is written in a hopeful tone and follows Bevin the bird, who learns how to have fun in an unfortunate situation.
Mary Gonyer is a mother of 2 and a grandmother of 5. Her grandchildren love story time, even when she makes the stories up. Throughout the pandemic, reading stories via Facetime was one of her favorite things to do. It also inspired her to write this book. She is hoping to start a series that will impact children everywhere, in a good way.
