Everyone Wants To Be The Star is a fun-loving and relatable Christmas story told through the perspective of the ornaments trying to survive the dangers of hanging on a tree. The "dangers" being a family with young children and crazy pets. The story is told by five relatable ornaments, Pirate, Dollie, Handy, Sticks and Mac. The ornaments want to be like the star or breakable ornaments, up high away from grabbing hands or playful paws. They end up working together, facing the dangers while realizing that they are just as important and meaningful to their family as the star or breakable ornaments. Will they make it to the big day, Christmas morning.
Suzanne Pearson is a speech/language pathologist, wife, mom and pet lover who was inspired to write her first children's book based on her own experiences of trying to maintain a lovely Christmas tree during the season with her family and crazy pets. It is a fun loving relatable story told from the perspective of the ornaments.
