Give Em Sass is a story of a little black girl named Bailee. The reader will be able to get a step by step look on Bailee as she leads her life and faces challenging situations. She flows through each situation with confidence, kindness, and some sass. She encourages others around her who might not be feeling their very best.
My name is Raechelle Green, and I am from New Orleans, LA. I wrote this book in dedication to my beautiful black and brown girls around the world. My experience as little African-American girl to a full grown black woman was not always easy. I faced an enormous amount of bullying for not only skin tone, but for my hair texture and body type. I wish that I had the amount of confidence that I have now, but that is the exact reason why I created this book. I wanted to show little black and brown girls early to be kind to yourself and others. I also wanted to show them that even though you can be sweet, you can still give em sass.
