"This book is full of simple, hands-on experiments children can try at home, which demonstrate jaw-dropping science in a way that is fun and memorable. Step-by-step photographs make the instructions easy to follow, and at the end of each experiment there is a simple explanation of the science with helpful diagrams. The experiments really appeal to children's sense of fun: you can create a chemical reaction with a lemon volcano, see how changes in air pressure can suck a boiled egg into a bottle, and discover why salt makes objects float. Some require adult supervision, but others children can happily try on their own - if you don't mind the mess. Author Bio

Laura Minter and Tia Williams are two creative mums based in Sussex, UK. They started Little Button Diaries, their crafting and baking blog, in 2013 and its popularity has seen them blog for companies such as Paperchase, Laura Ashley, Halfords and Hobbycraft as well as contributing to The Sun and magazines including Creativity, Essentials and Mollie Makes. Tia has worked as an environmental adviser and studied Linguistics at university with a focus on child language acquisition and disorders. Laura was a primary school teacher and previously worked as a radio producer. Their previous careers have greatly informed the development of their blog and their books.
