In Adventures of the Skeleton discover how your 206 bones support your body, how they connect to muscles and what the musculoskeletal system is anyway.
Each book in this series focuses on a certain part of the human body, using the body part as an approachable cartoon character in a series of relatable everyday situations. This blending of simple scientific explanation with cartoon artwork makes the science highly accessible. Comic strips are interspersed with explanation spreads to consolidate the learning, too. Perfect for readers age 8+ or anyone wanting their first book about the lungs!Books in the series:Adventures of the LungsAdventures of the HeartAdventures of the GutAdventures of the SkeletonDon't miss the incredible Adventures of the Brain, and discover how the brain thinks, feels and works with the rest of the body.Gary Boller (Illustrator)
Gary lives in Hampshire, UK, with his wife and two children, one chihuahua and four cats. He trained as a graphic designer gaining an HND but also did a few years in advertising in London. He always doodled as a kid, even on his parents walls and loved the comics of the day, The Beano and Dandy. He has since go on to work on many books and comics, including the famous ones mentioned above.
