Author Bio

Isabel Thomas is an award-winning science and nature writer. She is the author of more than 150 books for children and a journalist forThe Week Junior andWhizz Pop Bang magazines. Her critically acclimated picture book,Moth: An Evolution Story, illustrated by Daniel Egneus, was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal 2019 and was named book of the year by theFinancial Times and Books for Keeps in the UK. In the US it was named a book of 2019 by The Horn Book and the National Science Teaching Association, and winner of the AAAS Subaru Prize for Excellence in Science Books.
