Author Bio

Julia Vesova is an author of poetry and prose for children. She is a participant in the International Forum of Young Writers, the Seminar of Young Writers Writing for Children, and a "How to Write Well" Festival finalist. She is also the winner of various literary awards. She says, "If you squint at a lantern, it will turn into a lion with a red mane. I like to see the world through the eyes of a child--to find something new in the familiar, to notice the beauty in what surrounds."



Ekaterina Dmitrieva is a concept artist and illustrator from Moscow. She has been working in the field of children's illustration since 2013 and in animation since 2016. She attended the Moscow State University of Printing and had a number of her works included in the university's exhibition catalog for the years 2003-2013. She collaborates with many publishing houses as an illustrator, as well as with Chinese and Indian studios as a concept artist.
