Reviews

All aboard! The train heads to more than twenty different cities across the United States in this unique train-shaped fold-out board book. Unfold this book and stand it up for the optimal reading experience. Readers' first stop is Grand Central Station on the New York City subway line. Then, use PATH in Jersey City to go under the Hudson River. The oldest subway in the country, the Boston T is the train system that conveys readers to the Washington, DC Metro. Other cities and train systems include the metro subway link in Baltimore, Maryland, SEPTA in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the metro rail in Miami, Florida, and the LYNX in Charlotte, North Carolina. Each train car features the name of a different train system and city, while providing key information through text and illustrations of landmarks and briefly stated facts. The illustrations are fun and detailed. This book makes a great starting point for a lesson about railway transportation or cities in a classroom or at home! * Children's Literature *

Author Bio

Stephanie Campisi is an Australian childrens book author living in the US. She has slept in a cemetery, has a friend who was bullied by a prince and has lived in a haunted house in a haunted town. Two of the three statements in the previous sentence are true. Or they all are. Stephanie is the author of books including Luis and Tabitha, Very Lulu, Five Sisters, Axolotls: Day to ZZZ, and Quacks Like a Duck... with more to come!

Susanna Covelli was born in a small town in Piedmont, Italy, earned an MA in architecture, and followed her passion for art and decided to attend a specialization course in both traditional and digital illustration at Scuola Iternazionale di Comics in Turin. Her art expresses her own imagination and inspiration from nature, and she has always been attracted by sinuous shapes, Baroque style, and out-of-the-ordinary perspective.
