The stepsisters yell. The fairy godmother sings. The pineapple-turned-monster-truck burns rubber on its way to the ball. For Cinderella this evening is an enchanted STEM adventure through the science of sound. For readers it's a treat of a fractured fairy tale complete with an ear diagram a key-term glossary critical thinking questions and a sweet pair of glass high-top sneakers.
Jomike Tejido is the author and/or illustrator of more than 100 children's books. Working digitally, he specializes in whimsical illustrations, especially of dinosaurs, robots, and weird creatures--the stuff his readers love! Jomike and his family are based in Manila, Philippines, where he also paints and participates in art exhibitions. Thomas Kingsley Troupe is the author of a big ol' pile of books for kids. He's written about everything from ghosts to Bigfoot to 3rd grade werewolves. He even wrote a book about dirt. When he's not writing or reading, he investigates the strange and spooky as part of the Twin Cities Paranormal Society. Thomas lives in Woodbury, Minnesota with his two sons.
