An instructional guide to an increasingly popular sport, this book reviews the basics of skateboarding, the mental and emotional side of the sport, and what it takes to become an advanced skater. As aggression is a key factor to skating success, this book attempts to pinpoint where the risks begin to outweigh a skater's chance for reward and success. Also included are sequential shots of 25 street and park tricks, to help skaters visualise and learn new concepts and skills.
Follow-up guide to Skateboarder's Start Up: A Beginner's Guide to Skateboarding.
