Following the author's popular book Becoming a Woman Who Pleases God, this new volume for young women explores--in the context of the teen years--the timeless issues of building godly character. As today's teens are thrust into a world which demands a flexibility for which many are not prepared, the content of this book addresses real issues with biblical wisdom. Following the journal entries of a fictional, contemporary high school senior, readers experience the challenges and triumphs of her "incredible journey" of everyday faith. Questioning, "Is it possible to enjoy my teen years and please God at the same time" Sarah finds answers through her own experiences. From the pages of Sarah's personal journal, the reader will learn how to choose friends wisely; manage money well; embrace biblical principles in decision making; choose to serve rather than be served; and develop knowledge and skills that make life more creative, enjoyable, and emotionally satisfying. Ultimately, a teen will be challenged to embrace God's special instructions to women so that she establishes lifelong character traits that bring honor to her Heavenly Father. Living counter-culturally with confidence, she'll realize the joy of living up to her God-given potential.
