I'm Unvaccinated and That's OK!is the story of an unvaccinated child named Nicholas Novaks, who shares the many reasons why his parents have chosen not to vaccinate him. Nicholas explains his parents personal concerns about vaccine injury, the importance of finding a doctor they can trust and openly speak with, the research they did before making this decision, and what life is like for an unvaccinated child who has an older, vaccine-injured sibling.
Inspired by the personal stories of vaccine-injured children, which have been shared with Dr. Shannon Kroner over many years of working with special needs families, Dr. Kroner aims to raise awareness on the importance of vaccine choice and the necessity of doing the research before making an important decision such as vaccination.
Join Nicholas as he shares what it means to be an unvaccinated child in todays world and why one's personal choice regarding vaccination must always be respected.
Dr. Shannon Kroner has a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and a master's degree in Special Education. Her doctoral dissertation, entitled, "Childhood Vaccinations: The Development of an Educational Manual," provides a psychological viewpoint of how parents make decisions regarding vaccinations for their children.
Dr. Kroner first began working with special needs families in 2001 and noticed many parents sharing similar stories about their children's disabilities having occurred shortly after receiving a vaccine. It was upon hearing so many personal vaccine injury stories that Dr. Kroner began researching vaccines.
Years later, Dr. Kroner personally suffered a vaccine injury after receiving a "preservative-free" flu shot while pregnant. Believing that "preservative-free" would be safe, she received the vaccine, but suffered a serious reaction which landed her in the emergency room. Dr. Kroner put herself on strict bed rest, did many hours of research on how to heal herself and save her baby, and by the grace of God eventually gave birth to a healthy child.
As a mother of two wonderful boys, and a lifetime resident of California, where vaccine laws are the strictest in the nation, Dr. Kroner has become a strong advocate for vaccine choice. She is also the founder and Executive Director of the non-profit organization, Freedom of Religion - United Solutions (FOR-US), where she has united faith leaders of many faiths, to protect the religious freedom of vaccine choice.
A public speaker, advocate, author, and mother who personally experienced a vaccine injury, Dr. Kroner understands the importance of protecting vaccine choice and educating today's children as they pave the way towards a brighter tomorrow.
