The Great Lion Escape is a delightful, lyrical children's book about two lions who are forced to flee their home in search of a better life. The story explains how these two lions cross the great Iron Mountain and overcome Boris the Bear to arrive at the peaceful plains beyond. Inspired by the true story of two Hungarian refugees who escaped the Soviet Union and crossed the Iron Curtain to start a new life in America, The Great Lion Escape is a tale of two lions' harrowing journey out of challenging circumstances, the challenges of immigration, and the benefits of perseverance.
