Learn about emotions with The Little Prince

Discover emotions with the beloved character from author-illustrator Antoine de Saint-Exupry. Joy, fear, anger, surprise...children experience a range of emotions every day, often several at the same time, and they sometimes find it difficult to articulate what they feel. Naming and identifying emotions is a way for little ones to start recognising these feelings. As they gain self-awareness, children learn to manage their emotions, a critical skill that lays the foundation for emotional intelligence and resilience. The feelings described in this book include joy, surprise, anger, love, fear, sadness, and calm.

Reviews

''An excellent short but beautiful book about feelings with colour associations to help the reader name and relate to their feelings. With lovely illustrations of the Little Prince and mindful exercises at the end of the book, this will be an asset to parents, teachers and therapists helping children and young people learn to explore and manage their feelings. '' Wendy F. - Educator

''Reading the book I quickly realized this book is one of the most perfect books to read for a SEL lesson every day. '' Britanny K., Teacher-Educator
