Author Bio

Conhita Miranda was born in Barcelona, Spain. A pharmacist by training, she created in 2008 the foundation Sobre Ruedas to help poeple with cerebral palsy. The award-winning author and illustrator Mnica Carretero was born in Madrid but now lives in Segovia. She is self-taught and her colourful and vivid illustrations have received international recognition and she is now a very succesful illustrator of children's picture books. Conchita Miranda naci en Barcelona donde pasa su niez y primera juventud. Poco despus de terminar sus estudios de Farmacia se traslada a Madrid donde vive desde entonces. En 2008, crea la Fundacin Sobre Ruedas, para ayudar a personas con parlisis cerebral. La galardonada ilustradora e autora Mnica Carretero naci en Madrid pero ahora vive en Segovia. Es autodidacta y sus ilustraciones coloridas y vvidas han recibido el reconocimiento internacional y ahora es una ilustradora muy acertada de los libros ilustrados para nios.
