Author Bio

Born and raised in Jamaica, self-taught artist Davia A. Morris always held a fascination with art - particularly book illustrations and cartoons- which she incessantly worked on between classes while at Meadowbrook High school. After graduating, with support from both her mother and elder sister she continued to hone her artistic skills at every opportunity. To advance in her artistic journey,
Davia chose to specialize in animation, first at the Games Academy and then later at the Vocational Training Development Institute where she obtained an Associate Degree in Animation.

Now at age 21 with skills in character design, and 2D and 3D animation, she is a freelance artist looking to make her mark in the industry as she continues to increase her knowledge in this area. Davia is the illustrator for eight of the twenty-one children's books of the SCREE series.
