Author Bio

I am Kathy Rackley - life-long educator, learner....... and avid animal lover! I served in the public education system for 31 years in the roles of teacher, media specialist and school administrator. I began feeling a calling to support children in a different way. I searched until I found an approach that fit my vision. I discovered Adventures in Wisdom(TM) and became a certified WISDOM Coach(TM) in 2022. I knew the coaching experience would be enhanced through books that demonstrated authentic animal experiences and promoted connection. Children can relate to Nellie as she learns to overcome common challenges.

My experiences as an educator, as well as being a parent of two daughters, have provided incredible insight into the complexities of growing up and developing an identity. It takes courage to effectively face the pressures children will inevitably encounter. This skill leads to confidence, positive choices, goal attainment, and success! Courage doesn't just happen.... It is a mindset skill that can be grown and strengthened.

My goal is to partner with you, as a part of your child's team, and teach him/her those life-changing skills.
