Where They Go In Winter is a research-based children's book, inspired by Ari Mintz's curiosity about where animals go in winter. This book is a labor of love, written by father and daughter Ari and Rachel Mintz, illustrated by Rachel's partner.
Rachel Mintz graduated with her BA in Anthropology from Colorado College and her MA in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Rachel is Ari's youngest child, and lives in Chicago with her partner, Damian.
Ari Mintz is a physician, musician, father of six, and grandfather living in the Chicagoland area, who came up with the idea for this book.
Damian Radulovic has a degree in Animation from DePaul University and lives in Chicago with Rachel.
