Description

Why in the World introduces citizenship topics in a sensitive way with heartfelt illustrations, helping to connect children's own experiences to larger issues in the world

Pollution is destroying our planet. But what is pollution and why is it so bad This book looks at types of pollution from litter in the playground to plastic waste in the sea and suggests small changes that can make a big difference, helping to keep us and our world healthy and safe.

Full of empathy and emotion, these guides are an excellent first look at life's challenges. The notes included for parents and teachers offer springboard for healthy discussion at home and in the classroom.
