As a frontline family, Christopher Lee was highly aware of the fears and realities people faced through the COVID pandemic. He saw the opportunity to write a positive story about how his family rode out 2020 and used the friendship between his dog Spot and nephew Kincaid as the template for his book. This is a story of how real people can survive anything with the love and support of family and friends.
Chris is a first-time children's author. He lives in Metro Detroit with his spouse and life partner, Pauline. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in psychology and Wayne State University with a second bachelor's degree in nursing. Chris spends his time helping others as an RN at the University of Michigan or connecting with his family. Practicing creativity is his greatest joy, and he loves sharing that gift with his nieces and nephews. My illustrator
